
A breakfast recipe we come back to time and again, our homemade granola. Perfect to bring back to bed with a steaming cup of coffee.
INGREDIENTS:
60g butter
75g honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
400g oat flakes
25g pumpkin seeds
25g sunflower seeds
25g whole hazelnuts
25g flaked almonds
100g dried cranberries
METHOD
1. Melt the butter, honey and vanilla together.
2. Preheat your oven to 150 fan or gas mark 3.
3. Add your dry ingredients, except your cranberries, into a large bowl and mix.
4. Pour your melted butter mix into the bowl and stir thoroughly until everything is lightly coated.
5. Spread evenly onto lined tins and bake for 15 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and stir with a metal spoon before returning for a further 12 minutes until the granola is a light golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven, add in your cranberries and allow to cool fully before storing in glass jars.
